Technical description
The Human-Machine System (HMS) is designed with a modular architecture, supporting multi-touch, graphic and multi-protocol communication interfaces. It allows quick connection with different types of automation equipment and provides a clear window of interaction between humans and machines. User-centered, the HMS offers real-time control and supervision of the logistics facility from operating panels, tablets and HMI terminals on the floor.
How it works
User-centered interface
The HMS provides a concise, intuitive graphic interface that reduces the operator's learning curve. The most frequent controls are accessible on the main screen; advanced functions are organized in independent modules for supervisors.
Modular functional design
The interface is designed in independent modules: equipment interface, individual machine interface, fault handling interface and information query interface. Each module meets a specific application scenario without overloading the screen.
Flexible expansion and compatibility
The multi-touch operating panel includes multiple communication interfaces, allowing quick integration with different hardware brands or system architectures. Compatible with the full equipment line we integrate and with third-party PLCs.

STOKA Engineering
The HMS STOKA implements is the operator interface designed by the same team that manufactured the hardware. This guarantees that every alarm, operating mode and diagnosis visible in the HMS corresponds exactly to the real status of each piece of equipment, with no middleware interpretations.
Technology with over 1,000 active installations in more than 30 countries. STOKA provides the local engineering: sizing, importation, installation, ERP integration and technical support in Argentina, without depending on overseas factory lead times. Learn more about the technology →
Frequently asked questions
The HMS is the user interface layer above the PLC. It integrates the status of multiple pieces of equipment in a single screen, provides fault diagnosis with root cause and resolution guides, and records the operation history. The PLC panel only shows the status of that specific piece of equipment.
Yes. The HMS multi-touch panel is compatible with industrial tablets and portable HMI terminals. This allows the maintenance operator to diagnose a piece of equipment directly in the field without needing to go to the central operating station.
