Technical description

The double-deep MiniLoad stacker crane maximizes storage density. It features a double-fork mechanism that accesses two storage rows from a single aisle. It significantly increases storage capacity by 20% to 30% per aisle versus the single model. It is particularly suitable for warehouses with concentrated SKUs and large single-item inventories, such as retail replenishment centers, cold storage and spare-parts warehouses where space utilization is critical.

How it works

01

Greater storage density

With a double-fork design that accesses two product rows from a single aisle, it achieves greater capacity within the same space. Single-aisle storage capacity increases by 20% to 30%, optimizing warehouse utilization.

02

Ideal for high-volume SKUs

Double-reach or double-clamp forks can be changed on demand to accommodate bulk SKUs with different packaging. With ±3 mm accuracy it precisely aligns each SKU with its designated storage location.

03

Vertical space optimization

It maximizes the use of horizontal space and expands capacity vertically with a maximum height of up to 45 meters. With operation backed by a safe busbar, it acts as an intelligent solution for space-limited warehouse environments.

STOKA Engineering

Why implement it with STOKA

Double-deep is the ideal option when warehouse space is limited and SKUs have high repetition. STOKA analyzes the inventory rotation profile to determine whether double-deep maximizes ROI versus the single model.

Technology with over 1,000 active installations in more than 30 countries. STOKA provides the local engineering: sizing, importation, installation, ERP integration and technical support in Argentina, without depending on overseas factory lead times. Learn more about the technology →

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the main advantage of the double-deep MiniLoad?

The main advantage is greater storage density: the same aisle stores 20% to 30% more containers than the single version. This is especially valuable when warehouse space is a limited resource.

How does the MiniLoad guarantee precise, stable operation?

Laser or barcode positioning, combined with conductor-rail power supply, guarantees ±3 mm accuracy throughout the operation. The servo-control system ensures smooth, repeatable movements.

Where is the double-deep MiniLoad most suitable?

It is ideal for retail replenishment centers, cold storage and spare-parts warehouses with many containers per SKU. For warehouses with unit SKUs or high variety, the single-deep model is more efficient.
