Automatic pallet formation and breakdown — up to 2,000 boxes/hour

STOKA integra, instala y da soporte a estos sistemas en Argentina y Chile.
Technical description
The automatic palletizers and depalletizers we integrate automate pallet formation and breakdown at the end and start of production lines or at the ASRS input/output stations. With capacities of up to 2,000 boxes/hour and handling weights of up to 50 kg per box, they integrate with chain and roller conveyors to form continuous flows with no human intervention. The machine vision system detects the orientation of each box and adjusts positioning in real time to guarantee stable pallets with the required load pattern.
How it works
Box reception and orientation
Boxes arrive by conveyor to the pre-forming area. The vision system detects the orientation and dimensions of each box. Boxes are redirected and oriented for the palletizing pattern defined in the software.
Pallet formation
The robotic head or palletizing gantry places each box according to the predefined pattern (column, brick, cross). Each layer is completed before going up for the next. The system manages multiple SKUs on the same pallet when the order requires it.
Transfer to the warehouse
The finished pallet passes to the output conveyor with optional automatic stretch film. From there it enters the ASRS system or the dispatch zone. The WMS records the pallet, its contents and destination at the moment of formation.

STOKA Engineering
The palletizers STOKA implements integrate natively with ASRS hardware from the same manufacturer, eliminating the compatibility problems typical of integrating equipment from different manufacturers. The palletizing software is part of the same WCS that controls the rest of the warehouse.
Technology with over 1,000 active installations in more than 30 countries. STOKA provides the local engineering: sizing, importation, installation, ERP integration and technical support in Argentina, without depending on overseas factory lead times. Learn more about the technology →
Frequently asked questions
The palletizing software manages up to 200 different SKUs with an individual load pattern for each. Product change requires no physical intervention: the operator selects the SKU on screen and the system applies the correct pattern automatically.
Yes. The multi-SKU mode allows mixing boxes of different dimensions on the same pallet according to the order. The palletizing algorithm calculates the optimal pattern to maximize stability and load density, checking the weight per layer before continuing.
The vision system detects boxes with dimensions outside the defined tolerance and automatically diverts them to a reject line. The operator reviews the rejected box without interrupting the main flow. The typical reject rate in well-tuned operations is below 0.5%.
Yes. The palletizer operates independently as an autonomous cell connected to the production or dispatch line. Integration with an ASRS increases its efficiency but is not a requirement. STOKA sizes the solution according to the throughput of your warehouse, depot or facility.
