Pallet Stacker Crane Racking

AS/RS racking for pallet stacker cranes — from 15 to 40 meters high

Pallet stacker crane racking — high-bay automated warehouse

STOKA integra, instala y da soporte a estos sistemas en Argentina y Chile.

Technical description

Pallet stacker crane racking is assembled flexibly according to the client's site conditions, with broad applicability and high market adaptability. It has excellent seismic performance and great load capacity, supporting the construction of high-bay automated stacker-crane warehouses above 40 meters. It can meet the high-density storage needs of industries such as food, pharma and new energy.

How it works

01

Storage cycle

The stacker crane receives the pallet at the input station and transports it to the cell assigned by the WCS. Unlike the shuttle system, the stacker crane operates in the aisle between the racking and can reach any single- or double-deep cell in a single cycle.

02

High density at great height

Stacker crane racking allows using the entire free height of the warehouse from 15 to 40 meters. The high-strength structure supports the dynamic load of the moving stacker crane, including acceleration and braking forces at speeds of up to 160 m/min.

03

Operation in special conditions

The modular construction allows adapting the racking to cold chambers, explosion-risk warehouses and other special environments. The silane anti-corrosion treatment guarantees long-term structural integrity under humidity, cold or chemical agents.

STOKA Engineering

Why implement it with STOKA

STOKA integrates stacker crane racking manufactured under standardized factory production that guarantees fast deliveries and uniform quality. The ±0.1 mm tolerance ensures stacker crane operation without premature wear of the rails and guides, reducing maintenance cost in the long term.

Technology with over 1,000 active installations in more than 30 countries. STOKA provides the local engineering: sizing, importation, installation, ERP integration and technical support in Argentina, without depending on overseas factory lead times. Learn more about the technology →

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between 1-mast and 2-mast stacker crane racking?

The 1-mast stacker crane is more economical and suitable for loads up to 1,000 kg and heights up to 25 m. The 2-mast handles heavier loads (up to 2,000 kg) and greater height (up to 40 m) with more stability. The racking is compatible with both configurations.

How long does it take to install stacker crane racking in a new warehouse?

In a newly built warehouse, stacker crane racking installation takes between 6 and 10 weeks. If the warehouse already exists, the timeline depends on the prior civil adaptation (slab leveling, available free height). STOKA does the on-site technical evaluation at no cost.

Does the racking operate in cold storage?

Yes. The pallet stacker crane racking is available in a cold-storage version (-30 °C) with reinforced anti-corrosion coating. The high-strength steel structure maintains its mechanical properties across the entire operating temperature range.

Can they be adapted to an existing warehouse with internal columns?

Yes. The modular design allows configuring the aisles and rack arm lengths based on the position of the warehouse's structural columns. STOKA performs the site dimensional survey and designs the aisle configuration that maximizes storage capacity.
