High-density LIFO drive-in system: up to 6 pallets deep, space utilization up to 50%

STOKA es el representante oficial exclusivo de DELIE en Argentina y Chile.
Technical description
The DELIE Drive-in Racking system is a compact storage solution from its product line. It allows forklifts to enter and exit the racking directly from one side, eliminating the need for multiple aisles. The total system depth normally supports up to 6 pallets (≤ 6 pallets) and achieves warehouse space utilization of up to 50%. It balances high space utilization with operational safety.
How it works
Forklift entry
The forklift enters the racking channel with the forks in a raised position. The forks rest on the guide rails at the correct height. The operator advances to the designated storage position, deposits the pallet and reverses.
LIFO flow
Drive-in operates in LIFO mode: the last pallet loaded is the first to leave. Pallets are loaded from front to back and retrieved in reverse order. This system is ideal for homogeneous goods with no mandatory FIFO rotation.
Maximum space utilization
By eliminating the aisles between each row of racking, drive-in concentrates storage in compact blocks. With up to 6 pallets deep per position, space utilization can reach 50% of the total warehouse area.

Frequently asked questions
Drive-in is cheaper in initial investment because it requires no robots. The shuttle offers higher density (up to 30 pallets deep vs. 6 of drive-in), greater safety (the forklift does not enter the channel) and higher throughput. For operations with a limited budget and moderate volume, drive-in is the right option.
Yes. DELIE drive-in racking is available in a cold-storage version (-30 °C). The silane treatment and high-strength steel maintain their structural properties across the entire temperature range.
The mechanical installation of drive-in racking takes between 2 and 4 weeks depending on the project volume. It is one of the fastest installations in the DELIE catalog. STOKA coordinates the importation and assembly in Argentina.
In some cases it is possible to adapt the drive-in channels to receive shuttle robots, taking advantage of the existing structure. STOKA evaluates the technical and economic feasibility of the conversion for each specific project.
