Technical description
The DELIE bidirectional shuttle robot offers efficient, precise pallet handling in a single aisle. Designed for high-speed alternating movements, it works perfectly with AGV/AMR to form a stable, reliable and space-efficient automated storage system. Its robust, simple mechanics guarantee low failure rates and a long service life, with excellent return on investment for fixed-route layouts.
How it works
Reliability in a simple design
The simple, robust mechanical design guarantees low failure rates, easy maintenance and a long service life. Without the complexity of cross navigation, the robot is more economical and easier to maintain.
High performance in a linear aisle
Optimized for linear movement, it achieves acceleration of up to 1 m/s² and travel speed of 120 m/min for efficient operations. It works together with AGV/AMR for comprehensive automation systems.
Scalability per aisle
System capacity is expanded by adding shuttle robots. Each aisle operates independently for maximum flexibility. The WCS coordinates multiple robots in the same aisle without collisions.

DELIE technology in Argentina
The bidirectional model is the most economical option for single-aisle layouts. STOKA evaluates whether the cost saving versus the 4-way model justifies the navigation limitations in the client's specific project.
DELIE has more than 1,000 active installations in over 30 countries. STOKA is the exclusive representative in Argentina: engineering, installation and local technical support without depending on overseas factory lead times. Frequently asked questions
The system includes front and rear positioning sensors, real-time failure alarms and obstacle detection. The WCS manages coordinated emergency stops in case of anomaly detection.
Robots are added to the same aisle or additional aisles are incorporated. The WCS manages the complete fleet and distributes tasks among available robots to maximize total throughput.
In case of unit failure, the WCS automatically reassigns tasks to the operational robots of the same aisle or adjacent aisles. Operation continues with reduced throughput until the robot recovers.
