Industrial Conveyors

Continuous material flows between warehouse zones

DELIE industrial conveyors — continuous material flow
DELIE

STOKA es el representante oficial exclusivo de DELIE en Argentina y Chile.

Technical description

DELIE industrial conveyors connect the different zones of the warehouse, depot or facility in a continuous material flow: from receiving to ASRS storage, and from the ASRS to picking, packing and dispatch. Available in chain, motorized-roller and belt versions, with curves, diverts, lifts and automatic barcode readers. STOKA's flow engineering sizes the optimal conveyor layout to maximize system throughput with no bottlenecks.

How it works

01

Reception and identification

Pallets or boxes enter the conveyor system from the loading dock. Automatic barcode and/or RFID readers identify each load. The WCS checks whether the load is within the dimensional and weight tolerances before continuing.

02

Dynamic routing

The WCS assigns the destination of each load according to its type, status and space availability in the ASRS system or at picking stations. Motorized diverts automatically direct each load to the correct zone with no manual intervention.

03

Connection with ASRS

The conveyors integrate natively with DELIE stacker cranes, shuttles and picking systems. The transfer between the conveyor and the stacker crane is automatic, with synchronization controlled by the WCS to avoid blockages and maximize flow.

DELIE technology in Argentina

DELIE — official STOKA representation

DELIE conveyors are designed to integrate with no middleware into same-brand ASRS systems. The same WCS that controls the stacker crane controls the conveyor, eliminating latencies and failure points in integration. STOKA delivers the complete system with all components under a single turnkey contract.

DELIE has more than 1,000 active installations in over 30 countries. STOKA is the exclusive representative in Argentina: engineering, installation and local technical support without depending on overseas factory lead times. World-class technology at a price for the LATAM market. More about DELIE in Argentina →

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Which conveyor type is best for my warehouse: chain, rollers or belt?

Chain is ideal for heavy pallets and irregular surfaces. Motorized rollers are the most versatile for boxes and totes, with low noise and reduced maintenance. Belt is optimal for small or fragile items that cannot roll. STOKA recommends the type according to your depot's load profile.

Can the conveyors operate in temperature-controlled areas?

Yes. DELIE conveyors have a cold-zone version (-10 °C) and a high-temperature version (+60 °C). The mechanical and electrical components are specified according to the temperature range of each zone of the warehouse or refrigerated depot.

What preventive maintenance do the conveyors require?

The standard preventive maintenance is semi-annual: chain and bearing lubrication, tensioner adjustment, roller inspection and presence-sensor verification. With STOKA's maintenance plan, the MTBF (mean time between failures) exceeds 8,000 operating hours.

Can the conveyors be modified or expanded without stopping the operation?

Extensions and minor modifications (adding diverts, changing speeds) are done with the line running in most cases. Larger layout changes require a planned stop of 4 to 8 hours. STOKA designs the expansion to minimize the impact on the operation.
