High-speed automatic order sorting for e-commerce and 3PL

STOKA es el representante oficial exclusivo de DELIE en Argentina y Chile.
Technical description
DELIE sorters automatically classify boxes, parcels and totes at speeds of up to 10,000 units/hour, routing each item to its correct destination within the distribution center: picking zone, dispatch aisle, output dock or returns area. Sorting systems are the core component of any e-commerce, parcel and 3PL warehouse or depot where order volume demands precision and speed simultaneously. DELIE offers cross-belt sorters, linear pushers and 90° transfer systems configurable according to each depot's layout.
How it works
Identification and reading
Each item enters the sorter through an induction conveyor. Omnidirectional reading cameras identify the barcode or QR in any orientation. The WCS receives the reading, queries the WMS and determines the sorting destination in under 50 ms.
Sorting and diverting
The sorter activates the diverting mechanism at the exact moment: cross-belt, pusher or transfer arm depending on the model. The sorting speed is automatically regulated according to the item size and weight, guaranteeing it arrives complete and undamaged at the destination chute.
Accumulation and dispatch
The output chutes accumulate the sorted items by order, shipping route or carrier. The operator at the dock receives the packages already grouped and labeled, with no need to re-handle. The WCS reports the status of each chute in real time and generates overflow alerts.

Frequently asked questions
For low-volume e-commerce (up to 2,000 items/hour), a 90° transfer sorter is the most economical solution. For medium volumes (2,000–6,000 items/hour), the linear pusher sorter offers the best cost-throughput ratio. For large operations or industrial parcel (+6,000 items/hour), the cross-belt sorter is the standard. STOKA performs the free flow simulation to determine which applies to your warehouse or depot.
Yes. DELIE sorters are designed to handle wide dimension ranges on the same line. The induction system and dimensioning sensors automatically adjust the sorting parameters per item. The standard range goes from 100×80×30 mm to 600×400×340 mm. Out-of-range items are detected and automatically diverted to a manual reject chute.
DELIE sorters support up to 200 simultaneous sorting destinations. Destinations can be configured dynamically from the WCS: changing a chute's assignment in real time without stopping the system. This allows adapting the sorter to multiple shifts with different logistics operators (ideal for multi-tenant 3PL) or to seasonal campaigns with variable dispatch structures.
Implementing a sorter in an existing facility takes between 8 and 16 weeks from the purchase order to productive start-up. The first 4 weeks are engineering and layout. Weeks 5 to 10 are manufacturing and mechanical installation. The last 4 weeks are software integration, testing and commissioning. STOKA delivers the turnkey project with real throughput validation before formal handover.
