Technical description
DELIE mezzanine racking uses the racking as floor support, built directly over the existing work site, making the most of the height space to create a unique racking system that divides the warehouse height into 2 or 3 levels. The modular design makes installation and disassembly easier. It also supports height and span customization. Standardized production at DELIE's own facilities guarantees fast deliveries.
How it works
Construction over the existing floor
The mezzanine structure is built directly over the warehouse floor with no masonry work. Columns and beams are connected via high-strength bolts, with no on-site welding. The upper level is accessible by stairs or a lifting platform.
Division into 2 or 3 levels
The mezzanine divides the warehouse free height into 2 or 3 functional levels. Each level can be used for storage, work area or office. The height of each level and the span between columns are configurable based on the intended use.
Modular expansion
The modular design allows expanding the mezzanine horizontally or vertically without demolishing the existing structure. Expansion is done by adding adjacent modules or a third level over the current structure.

How much weight does the DELIE mezzanine floor support?
The floor's allowable load is defined in the project design based on the intended use. For box and small-pallet storage the typical range is 300 to 600 kg/m². For heavier loads the structure is reinforced. STOKA calculates the structural capacity for each project.
Is a municipal permit needed to install a mezzanine?
It depends on the jurisdiction. In general, removable metal structures that do not alter the building envelope do not require a construction permit. STOKA advises on the regulatory requirements of each municipality in Argentina.
How long does it take to install a mezzanine?
Installing a 500 m² DELIE mezzanine takes between 2 and 4 weeks. Since it requires no on-site welding or masonry work, the process is faster and less invasive than a concrete mezzanine.
Can it be used in a cold or humid warehouse?
Yes. The silane anti-corrosion treatment protects the structure against humidity and cold. For environments with explosion risk or aggressive chemical agents, DELIE applies specific additional coatings.
