Technical description
The DELIE cold-storage shuttle robot is specifically designed to operate in refrigerated chambers down to -25°C. The anti-condensation hermetic sealing protects all electronic components from the cold/ambient temperature transition. The special low-temperature lubrication maintains mechanical performance in continuous sub-zero cycles. It includes complete remote diagnosis for predictive maintenance with no need to enter the cold zone.
How it works
Anti-condensation sealing
When the robot exits the cold zone to the ambient-temperature area (for example, at the loading point), the electronic components are hermetically sealed to prevent condensation that damages circuits. The sealing is bidirectional and guarantees full system service life.
Low-temperature lubrication
The bearings, guides and transmission mechanisms use lubricants formulated to maintain their viscosity and protection at -25°C. Hardening that would reduce speed and damage components in cold is avoided.
Remote diagnosis
All operating parameters (motor temperature, battery status, accumulated cycles) are monitored remotely from outside the cold zone. Preventive maintenance alerts are generated before a failure occurs.

Can the robot operate in a freezer at -30°C?
The standard cold model is certified down to -25°C. For a freezer at -30°C, the ultra-cold version with additional specifications is required. Consult STOKA.
How much energy is saved vs. manual operation?
By automating the chamber, the doors open for less time and less frequently. The typical energy saving is between 15% and 25% of the refrigerated chamber's consumption.
