Technical description
The DELIE intelligent vertical carousel enables high-frequency, high-efficiency storage and retrieval of materials in limited space. The system consists of the main frame, the drive and transmission system, the control and safety protection system, and an expandable software management platform. It is widely applicable in industries such as smart manufacturing, smart healthcare and government records management. It maximizes vertical space utilization, offering several times the storage capacity of traditional racking.
How it works
High-density storage
The vertical carousel maximizes vertical space utilization, especially suited for workshops and warehouses with limited space. The frame is customized in width (2,020 mm to 4,020 mm in 200 mm increments) and height (up to 17,580 mm), adapting exactly to the available space.
Intelligent route optimization
The control system orders the carriers internally to minimize rotation time to the required item. The highest-access-frequency materials are automatically positioned on the most accessible levels, reducing cycle times.
Precise management and traceability
The carousel supports network connection with multiple units for unified management and visual traceability. It integrates with ERP, MES and WMS to improve material scheduling and inventory accuracy. Every movement is recorded with user, quantity, date and time.

What is the difference between the vertical carousel and the VLM?
The carousel rotates the carriers internally (like a paternoster) to bring the material to the window. The VLM uses a shuttle that goes directly to the required tray (random access). The carousel is the more economical, compact option; the VLM is faster for a high variety of SKUs.
Can the carousel be expanded if my operation grows?
Yes. The modular design of the DELIE carousel allows expanding capacity without replacing the system. As demand grows, additional modules are added or the height is increased with no changes to the management software.
How many operators can access it simultaneously?
A standard module has one window. For greater throughput, multiple modules are installed in parallel. The system also supports network connection of multiple carousels for unified management from a single control point.
What types of materials can the vertical carousel store?
The carousel is configurable in light, medium or heavy duty according to material weight. It is suitable for spare parts, tools, electronic components, records, pharmaceutical samples and any small- or medium-format material.
