Technical description

The DELIE dual-station four-way tote robot is a world-first innovation, designed for high-performance, high-density storage. Operating at speeds of up to 5 m/s, it handles two containers per cycle with a maximum load of 100 kg, enabling fast picking and efficient handling of standard containers, boxes and unit loads. The dual-station design improves operational efficiency by 80% to 90% per cycle versus conventional systems.

How it works

01

Efficient dual-station picking

The dual-station design allows handling two containers simultaneously per cycle, improving operational efficiency by 80% to 90%. It supports high-frequency access to single- and double-deep containers within the same or different storage groups.

02

Intelligent multi-robot coordination

It uses the DELIE ECBS algorithm for intelligent scheduling: the routes of multiple dual-station four-way robots are automatically optimized for greater overall system efficiency. Multi-robot coordination eliminates trajectory conflicts in real time.

03

High compatibility and safety

Compatible with standard containers, cardboard boxes, European, folding and industrial containers — ideal for mixed multi-SKU storage. It uses a Siemens PLC with real-time failure alarms and location-occupancy detection for safe operation.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

By how much does the dual-station design improve efficiency?

The dual-station design improves operational efficiency by 80% to 90% per cycle versus a single-station robot, by handling two containers simultaneously per trip.

Does it support simultaneous operation at multiple depths?

Yes. It supports high-frequency access to single- and double-deep containers within the same or different storage groups, with no need for mechanical changes.

Can it accommodate various container types from the market?

Yes. It is compatible with standard totes, cardboard boxes, European, folding and standard industrial containers. The adjustable fork width range (140–600 mm) covers most available dimensions.

Is it suitable for low-temperature environments?

Yes. The robot can be equipped with an LFP battery or supercapacitor, allowing stable operation in both ambient-temperature and refrigerated and frozen environments.
